Summer and Fall 2016 Manasquan Beach Imagery
I've been extremely busy lately so apologies for lack of regular updates!
New additions to the family have kept me busy most of the late spring, summer, and fall, but I did manage to get 2 mapping missions in for Manasquan Beach at the beginning and end of the summer season. I've updated the map below to include all the flights thus far, and I'm working on a new design to make it easier to compare various dates to each other (rather than always comparing to the first flight) but that is going to take some time.
The 5/20/16 Flight was right before Memorial Day, and shows the beach preparing for Summer.
The 9/13/16 Flight was shortly after Hermine sat offshore for several days and caused some significant movement of sand.
Unfortunately, because I missed the data retention deadline for the May flight, I can't offer the downloadable products like I have for all the other flights, though the map tiles themselves will stay up on MapsMadeEasy.com
I can however, provide the September 13th data for analysis; it is 100% free for non-commercial use, I just ask that you credit www.jerseyshoredrone.com in any reports or products you produce.
Explicitly, I want to make this demo data available free of charge for any Federal, State, or Local government, and all academic users.
